Dearest Lawrence,
I enclose a card from Julius and
her youngest- who adores you- I told
her it was a bit fly blown, but she
said you liked antiques- and that
it really was antique- it had probably
been in Mrs. Mossin's shop for years!
First let me say how good I think
your poem is- wonderful-delicious images
and so compact. I don't understand it
all of course, but I did enjoy it.
It came by the afternoon post so I did
not have time to read it until after
supper when I read it three times with
great pleasure. I have given it to
Clifford to read.
What I wonder, are "12 lecture letters"?
I expect to take the afternoon bus to
London on Tuesday. I hope to bring some
fruit so I shall probably bring all
my paintings.
