I enclose your Christmas card I hope you will like it - it is Lionel and Wassilly going to the Hundreds of Lions for Christmas they have been invited to the palace and there will be a mar-vellous number of balls Banquets Concerts, plays, skating and every thing you can imagine! There is of course a cart behind full of their luggage. I'm afraid Lion's portrait hasn't come out very well - I am very disappointed with it - and had I time I would do the whole thing again for his sake, but then you would not get it and perhaps it is better to have something imperfect for Christmas than not to have anything
